Share a commitment to faith, discussion, and laughter. This group studies a variety of topics and issues based on a small group format.  It is a class with fertile ground for discussion and reflection. Ages and viewpoints vary.  
Leaders:  Mike Cumbus, Cindy Dillon, Lauren Grubbs, Mike Kirkman, Tammy Shaney & Melissa Taylor.
 
Faith Seekers Class
Fellowship Hall (lower level),

Bible study is based on the Smyth & Helwys Formations series, a curriculum that focuses on various biblical themes, people and applications for today. It is a class with fertile ground for discussion and reflection. Most class members are in their thirties and forties, or are parents of younger children.  But the class is open to all adults.

This class is built upon the following quote from Sir Francis Bacon;
Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested: that is, some books are to be read only in parts, others to be read, but not curiously, and some few to be read wholly, and with diligence and attention. Be it thought-provoking, faith-building, or a journey into the Christian classics, you are invited to see what this group is chewing on.

Bible study is based on the Smyth & Helwys Formations series, a curriculum that focuses on various biblical themes, people and applications for today. The preferred learning style is by lecture and quiet reflection. Most class members are senior adults.
Leaders: Keith Burkhead, Robert Townsend & Dan Cottrell.
 
FOR YOUTH

Bible Study is based on the Ignite curriculum from the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF) focusing on missions and learning how to be as the presence of Christ in the world.

Youth II (grades 9-12)
Conference Room (lower level)
Bible Study is based on the Ignite curriculum from the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF) focusing on missions and learning how to be as the presence of Christ in the world.  In partnership with the curriculum, current events and the Sunday morning paper will be used to enhance the discussion.

Lessons include a brief object lesson or story based on God’s love.  Then lots of play time!

Bible study is based on Cokesbury’s Rock Solid  series for early to middle elementary aged children.  Each lesson includes a reading of scripture and an activity based on the topic/story/character at hand.

Bible study is based on Cokesbury’s Rock Solid series for middle to late elementary aged children.  Each lesson includes a reading of scripture and an activity based on the topic/story/character at hand.
